APS Contributes to AeroSafety World: ICAO Upset Training

Aviation Performance Solutions executives, Paul BJ Ransbury and Randall Brooks, contribute to AeroSafety World along with Master Instructor, Rich Stowell. This team of authors representing the Upset Prevention & Recovery Training Association (UPRTA), advance concepts alluded in ICAO’s recently released ICAO Manual on Aeroplane Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (ICAO Manual).

This AeroSafety World article addressing an Upset Recovery Training paper by Brooks, Ransbury and Stowell, was released in the magazines May 2014 issue. Industry Activities on Global Upset Training

In May 2014, the first global conference on International Upset Prevention and Recovery Training was held at ICAO headquarters in Montreal Canada. The world’s most progressive airlines and training providers attended this historic event. As the global industry leader in the provision of a wide diversity of upset recovery training solutions, Aviation Performance Solutions (APS) was honored to be asked by ICAO to provide a presentation on the Gold Standard in On-airplane Upset Prevention & Recovery Training.
