UPRT Advisor Corbett

Corbett joined Aviation Performance Solutions (APS) in April 2024 as a Senior UPRT Advisor, bringing with him a wealth of aviation experience and a strong background in finance. He earned his degree from Brigham Young University and has achieved accreditation as a Wyvern Certified Safety Officer.

In his role at APS, Corbett is dedicated to promoting aviation safety and fostering a culture of excellence. His responsibilities include advocating for APS’s mission of ‘Helping Pilots Bring Everyone Home Safely’ through Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). Corbett is actively pursuing his private pilot license to further enhance his expertise in aviation.

Prior to joining APS, Corbett built a career specializing in transaction processing, with a keen focus on business development and revenue generation.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Corbett enjoys spending time with his family, horseback riding, and improving his golf game.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis on Finance

  • Minor in Accounting

  • Certified Wyvern Safety Officer

  • Currently pursuing a Private Pilot License

  • Over 30 years of business development experience, demonstrating success as both a manager and individual contributor

  • Held senior leadership positions with several payments processing companies

  • Successfully managed strategic partnerships across the United States, Canada, and Latin America

  • Directed relationships with national-level clients, exceeding $100 million in revenue

  • Consistently recognized as a recipient of the President’s Club award
