New tools. Every pilot needs different techniques, or “tools”, to deal with different situations in flight. Unfortunately, accident statistics clearly show that the tools provided to pilots through standard licensing and type rating training are inadequate when pilots experience an unexpected upset event.

Jonathan Stewart shares his appreciation for gaining new tools appropriate for the upset domain, a better understanding of how to prevent and avoid upsets, and the confidence that comes from having the right tools for the job.
