Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) arms pilots with the advanced skills needed to prevent or overcome an unexpected airplane upset. In this video, Cessna pilot Lennie Moon discusses how on-aircraft training gave him the confidence to handle an in-flight situation and prevent Loss of Control In-flight. He also discusses the key role of the UPRT instructor. The FAA and ICAO have noted that the qualified instructor is the most critical factor in effective upset training.
