Scott Olinger started flying in high school, later attending Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from the Spartan’s commercial pilot program, Scott built a career as an airport manager and FAA Part 61, 141 and 135 flight instructor in Iowa and New Jersey. Scott later became a charter and corporate pilot, flying a Learjet 60 and King Air 350, before taking a job as a Bombardier demonstration pilot in Learjet 45s and 60s. He was quickly promoted to training officer, overseeing the training requirements for all Learjet demonstration pilots. His responsibilities built his experience in worldwide flight operations, and his duties involved assisting sales directors with customer education regarding the aircraft and their boundaries. Scott later expanded his extensive customer-service skills into the field of sales. Scott’s diverse sales experience, combined with his professional pilot expertise, give him a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the organizations and pilots APS serves and the unique ability to align the best solutions to meet needs and achieve the highest possible level of safety. Scott merges his in-depth commercial aviation experience with care-driven, customer-centric sales expertise.
