Level-5 Citation CJ1+ Simulator
High Fidelity Visual System and Modern Avionics
The Cessna CitationJet Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) provides the ability to show the transfer of UPRT principles in the multi-engine jet environment. This high fidelity fixed-base device has a high quality visual system that demonstrates the reduced control response and higher control forces representative of recoveries from upsets in in a transport category aircraft.
The CitationJet is a low-wing cantilever monoplane with retractable tricycle landing gear, a pressurized cabin, a T-tail, and is powered by two turbofan engines that are pylon mounted on the rear fuselage. The Model 525 CitationJet encompasses the CJ, CJ1, CJ1+, CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3, and CJ4 models. It is powered by two Williams FJ44 turbofans, and features EFIS avionics. The CJ1+, has an updated avionics package, and FADEC to allow the engines to be controlled by computer rather than mechanical controls.
