Instruction necessary for the tailwheel endorsement required by FAR Part 61.31(i).
The Tailwheel endorsement is an add-on to other Extra 300L courses offered by APS. The course provides 3 additional flight hours and 1.5 hours of ground instruction. The tailwheel endorsement is based on proficiency and not necessarily guaranteed in the allotted time. Any additional time required is billed at an hourly rate for aircraft and instructor. Training covers all aspects of tailwheel operations including normal and crosswind takeoffs and landings, wheel landings, and go-around procedures as required by FAR Part 61.31(i).
