Tim ‘Dawg’ Carter

Tim joined the company in November 2013 at the Arlington, Texas location. His primary tasks include instructing pilots in academic, on-aircraft, and simulator-based APS Upset Prevention and Recover Training (UPRT). Tim began his flying career in the United States Air Force (USAF) and was a T-38 Instructor. He then became a civilian flight instructor until being hired by Delta Airlines, where he enjoyed a 26-year career. After “retiring” from Delta, he became a Part 135 charter pilot flying the Cessna Citation CJ3 for 8 years. During that time, he was also a Citation 500 simulator and ground instructor attaining Training Center Evaluator status. Tim has also flown competition aerobatics for over 20 years and was co-owner of an aerobatic flight school. Tim lives in Trophy Club, Texas and works at the Arlington facility.
