Aviation Performance Solutions is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join the company’s dynamic aviation sales team. The position will require strong and proven communications skills along with a highly professional attitude and approach to the company’s growing list of new clients while maintaining positive relationships with existing clients. This key service delivery position will require direct interaction verbally, in writing, and in person with a very discerning and professional group of clients.

Aviation Qualifications:

  • Strongly preferred: Professional pilot experience in:
    • Corporate / Business Aviation
    •  Airlines
    • or Equivalent
    • Note: Current Aviation Medical is Not Required
  • Beneficial experience:
    • Military background
    • Flight school operations
    • Sales related education

Sales Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years previous sales experience
  • Critical: High degree of professionalism, honesty and ethics
  • Demonstrated success in past sales role(s)
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Ability to organize and plan work adhering to priorities and deadlines
  • Skills to manage multiple work projects
  • Problem solving and creativity to pioneer new sales opportunities
  • Excellent two-way communication, judgment, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Capable of interpreting and applying technical data relating to position
  • Adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities
  • Reacting calmly and effectively with time sensitive deadlines
  • Must have excellent presentation skills and ability to favorably represent the company

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, qualifies and closes sales to new and existing government, airline, flight department, owner/operation, university and flight school customers.
  • Some outside sales responsibilities may be required although it is not a primary function of this position at this time.
  • Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities.
  • Contact and interact directly with potential, new, and existing customers via phone, email, and in person and persuasively communicate features and merits of
  • products and services offered
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationship with customers through credible, knowledgeable, and personable customer service
  • Answer questions and provide customer support in a timely and informative manner
  • Analyze and determine customer needs and recommend appropriate additional products and services
  • Remain informed and communicate industry knowledge and customer needs and expectations to internal staff
  • Analyze and interpret past sales data to make recommendations to management regarding trends, pricing, estimated revenue, and opportunities for additional growth
  • Generate sales quotes and proposals including terms of sales and service dates
  • Manage customer portfolio by maintaining comprehensive records in company databases of customer and transaction details
  • Follow up with customers to ensure accuracy of service fulfilment, customer satisfaction, and encourage repeat sales

Required Work Schedule:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with an availability commitment for FULL TIME employment from Tuesday through Saturday with a modified Work Schedule: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, October thru May 15 and 5:30 am to 1:30pm May 15-September 30.

Compensation:

  • $50K – $80K  (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Plus Commission
