Fighter Pilot Position

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1000 operational flight hours as a NATO military fighter pilot
    • Preferred Aircraft Types: F-16, F-18 or F-15
  • FAA Commercial Single-Engine Land (SEL) Pilot's License
  • Work authorization in the United States
  • Beneficial qualifications
    • FAA Certified Flight Instructor Rating (CFI)
    • FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)
    • FAA Advanced Ground Instructor Rating (AGI)
    • Tailwheel endorsement
    • Air show or competition aerobatics experience
    • General aviation flight experience
    • Business Jet / Airline Experience

Description: 
This is primarily a flying position that includes advanced aerobatics in the world's highest performance certified aerobatic aircraft, the Extra 300L. APS revenue flying profiles include aerobatic rides & instruction, air combat maneuvering, upset recovery and spin training. Secondary duties include schedule coordination, APS staff pilot training, aircraft maintenance monitoring and flight program development. The ideal candidate lives in the east valley, enjoys all aspects of aerobatics and fighter aviation with a keen interest in passing along highly specialized flying skills and techniques to a wide spectrum of both private and professional pilots. A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computers in general is important.
